Wellington Gardens' Play Areas for Children

Art is Play - The focus is on art, creativity and interactive play.
We plan to scatter fun, imaginative things for the children throughout the central park area.
We want Wellington Gardens to be a place where parents find an easy alternative to the kids' video games and couch potato activities.
Wellington Gardens will be the healthy alternative.

Sand and Alligators - If it's Florida, there must be alligators!
But, these alligators also double as art built for climbing. Aside from the fun kids will have with these larger than life exhibits, we can envision multiple photo opportunities for parents, visitors and tourists.
Where are the children free to play? At Wellington Gardens, the answer is, wherever it most suits them.

Natural Play Areas
Research and practical experience over the last decade has shown that natural, unstructured play areas are highly effective at stimulating young children's development. It is shown, and common sense supports the fact, that natural play areas promote a greater sense of freedom, exploration and curiosity in children helping children to become more imaginative, more creative and more socially and emotionally secure.
Wellington Gardens will devote a considerable portion of the botanical garden area to the creation, development and continual evolution of a nature-scape learning and play area for Wellington's children. Links:

The Fun is FREE - When the kids get wet there's no need to worry - we're building public changing rooms that will be conveniently stationed nearby.
At Wellington Gardens families won't have to spend a boat load of money to have fun. In the interest of the community and our children, there will be plenty of fun activities that are absolutely free.
The goal is to make a family visit to Wellington Gardens as easy as possible on the parents by giving kids numerous, distracting, fun things to do.
By providing generous public space, imaginative exhibits and interactive play opportunities - of course along with the food and other entertainment choices - families will be encouraged to stay and play on their visits to Wellington Gardens.
